A Kripalu YogaDance® experience

   
Shake Your Soul® is about having fun, dancing to great music, and feeling good in your body.
Shake Your Soul®, based in Kripalu YogaDance (formerly DansKinetics)®, is a holistic approach to movement and dance, and was inspired by yoga, Qi Kung, modern dance, African dance, and body-mind centering. In our classes, we will also explore music and dances from all over the world.
 
Exciting world music and clear examples invite you to explore new movement concepts, to move with the music, and to increase your strength, flexibility and balance. Movements will be delicious, exciting, rhythmic, fluid, centering, grounding, purposeful, or full of breath, and they will become uniquely your own.
 
You will experience a reconnection with the joy of dance. You will feel your aliveness. Within the structure of the class, you will find the freedom to explore and to express, through dance and movement.
 
People of all ages and levels of dance and movement experience will have fun!

Shake Your Soul/Kripalu YogaDance®
For Two Left Feet
This class is for those who are new to dancing or have tried dancing before and feel they have two left feet. We will include all the elements of the regular Shake Your Soul classes, at a pace that feels comfortable, with a focus on discovering what works for you. There is no "wrong way" to move.

I have adapted and lead this program for "dancers" and "non-dancers", for seniors, for children, for those looking for a fitness activity, for creativity workshops, for business meetings (in business suits!), and for barefoot boogies.

Let’s plan a dance class or program that will work for you! I am located in midcoast Maine, but willing to travel. Do contact me about your ideas.
